Organisers Boating Industry Association of WA (BIAWA) announced that the City of Joondalup Hillarys Boat Show which concluded Sunday (March 25) at Hillarys Boat Harbour was a great success with 10,000 visitors attending the show and Property Managers once again advised that numbers increased to 74,698 over the weekend which would normally attract 38,000. Exhibitors reporting excellent sales all round.  Reactions from Exhibitors across the show were extremely positive.

The Hillarys habour precinct, boardwalk and surrounds make the perfect backdrop to celebrate WA's fabulous water lifestyle and all it has to offer.  We have a winning formula built around a fabulous location with a built in atmosphere, on water and static displas with a huge opportunity for growth.

The show featured an on water display with some of Perth's most spectacular new luxury boats including, Fairline, Riviera, Maritimo, Beneteau and Fountain Pajot Lipari.  Inside the hardstand offered 6240 m2 hardstand space with trailerable boats of all sizes, including new release Mailbu TXi, Waterworld's Seacat 565 Forward Conscole, Suretees 6.7 Workmate from Aqusports Marine and for the first time in Australia The Marinekart 338- a super stable little catamaran weighing only 55kg.

Information sessions, demonstrations and activities were will received by show goers with cooking demonstrations by Chef Sunny, boat launch and retrieval demonstrations, Fashion parades by Denichi, Stand Up Paddle boarding and much more available throughout the confines of the show.

Every guest to the show went into the running to win the ulitmate fishing adventure or an outboard package thanks to Mills Charters adn Yamaha outboard package.

The WINNERS were Reville Volker of Albany for the Mills Charter and Terri McCready of Carramar for the Yamaha Outboard.
