The marine industry is dynamic and diverse, with a wide range of pathways awaiting anyone with an interest in a career working arond boats of all shapes and sizes. The industry provides endless opportunities to develop a career both on and off the water. 

The marine industry offers many opportunities from boat building and repair / fit outs, to boat sales and service, marina services, professional servives including sales and marketing, slipway and services, boat operations and tourism. 

The Boating Industry Association of Western Australia (BIAWA) actively promotes and encourages entry into a marine career, we work closely with South West Metropolitan Tafe promoting marine apprenticeships.
